Miriam Brothman is a Licensed Social worker in the state of NJ with over a decade of experience working with families who have children with special needs both as a direct support professional and a case manager. Miriam is available to be of support to help families provide the best services for their family member(s) by offering the following:

- Joining ISP and IEP meetings, reviewing current treatment and support plans to determine what services could be added, discussed and clarified prior to these critical meetings
- Reaching out to case managers and/or other service providers to updates and to stay current on services being offered now and in the future.
- Helping families find service providers, a key component of any plan and one that is time consuming and can be frustrating for families
- Working closely with families to break down which services may be helpful and which may not be useful at this time.
- Joining meetings relating to school and or service issues to help advocate
- Be a sounding board for families working through these complex issues
- coaching to help with homeschool issues, navigating YT or other extended periods of vacation or other periods when a child is unable to attend a regular classroom format.
